She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Cotera and Ann Cotera; and her husband Donald Howard. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth and Cherie; her siblings, Augustus S. Cotera Jr. (Karen) and Rita Brooks (Edward); her nieces, Carol Shippy Angela Cotera (Keith) and Jennifer Motes (Mark); and her nephew Eric Brooks (Sheri).
