He is survived by: his wife Carole Fleshman Desmond; his daughters, Bonnie Jones (Rick) and Holly Bennett (Wade); his granddaughters, Lauren Akery (James), Avery Bennett and Anna Bennett; his great grandchildren, Paisley Akery and Presley Akery; and his brother Peter Desmond.
