It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Weimer of Pearland, Texas, born in Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on September 2, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Weimer; her parents, Malone McWhorter and Orie McWhorter; and her sister LaVaughn Bean. She is survived by: her children, Fred E. Weimer (Nanette) and Cynthia Simpson (James); her grandchildren, Alicia Addison (Ryan), Clay Weimer (Danica), Hayden Simpson (Rheagan), Heath Suttle (Cynthia) and Stephanie Bateman; and her great grandchildren, Case Weimer, Hayley, Morgan Simpson, Patrick, Rebecca Addison, Kyler Crutcher, Sloan Bateman, Luke and Benjamin Suttle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Meals on Wheels or Shadycrest Baptist Church.
