He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sixta and Helen Sixta (Richtig). He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Sherry Sixta of Mansfield, TX; his brother David R. Sixta (Susan Sixta); his wife Connie Sixta; his daughter Christine Rinehart (Sixta); his son-in-law Todd Rinehart; his grandson Austin Sixta; and his sister-in-law Billie Tietgen. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church (120 Cherry St, Clarkson, NE 68629). A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Cobblestone INN Conference Room (2218 Colfax St, Schuyler, NE 68661).
