He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Harvey Bird and Emma Bird (Simpkins); and his sister Eloise Helbert. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bird (Farmer); his children, David Bird (Sherry), Jack Bird and Debbie Unterkircher (Jim); his grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy, Jayson, Jackie, Colin, Matthew, Michael, Katrina and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Roman, Jace, Jacob, Shannon, Alex, Max and Zack.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clayton Funeral Home (5530 W Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77584). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
