She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Victory Johnston and Virginia Johnston MacGregor Peters; her stepfather Glenn Peters; and her husband Richard Earl Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Alan Smith (Melissa) and Derek Smith (Frances); and her grandchildren, Aubrey, Elaine, Bennett, Aiden and Esther. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family friends, and a vast network of DAR sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the South Park Chapel (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581).
