He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelio Serna, Sr. and Louisa Gonzales Serna; and his siblings, Maria Villanueva, Felecita Serna, Elifonso Serna and Fernando Serna.
He is survived by: his brothers, Seferino Serna (Elida) of Pawnee and Dionicio Serna of Guymon; and his siblings-in-law, Anita Serna of Pawnee and Servando Villannueva of Garden City, Kansas.. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
