He is survived by: his daughter Donna J Bartels (Hilmar) of McQueeney; the parents of children, Donald Rylant and Cynthia A Mayfield (Paul) of LaVernia; his son William R Hines (Lisalyn) of Pawnee; the parents of children, Jennifer Hines and James L Hines (Marla) of Cashion, OK.; his grandchildren, Dawna L McCombs (JJ), Dana R Austin, Katie L Ryan (Luke), Matthew D Mayfield (Elizabeth), Beau Hines, Cody Hines (Lexee), Craig Drury (Rebecca), Cheyenne A Mock (Benjamin), Channa R Hines, Chalee E Hines and Chelsey D Milledge (John); his great grandchildren, Cierra (Jared), Hayden, Jayden, Charles, Levi, Laythe, Braxton, Estella, Josephine, Coleson, Bellamy, Asher, Magnolia and Ryder; his great great grandchild Everly; and his grandsons, Matthew Mayfield, Benjamin Mock and Luke Ryan.
