It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Sloat of Pattison, Texas, born in Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Buster Jarvis and Georgia Jarvis (Wood); her husband Ev Sloat; her brother Hoyt Jarvis; and her son Michael Kevin Sloat.

She is survived by: her sons, David Eric Sloat of Dallas and Timothy Alan Sloat (Karlin) of Streetman, Texas; her grandchildren, Sarah Jane, Jessica Sloat and S. Navy; and her great grandchild Evelyn Grace Noelle.
