It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorene Laas (Pattison, Texas), born in Spring Branch, Texas, who passed away on March 20, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hitzfelder and Wanda Hitzfelder (Pfeuffer); her husband Weldon Laas; and her sisters, Irene Hitzfelder, Joyce Hitzfelder and Gloria Hardy.
She is survived by: her son Harvey Laas (Lynette) of Pattison; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Whitney Laas of Austin; and her brother Herman Hitzfelder, Jr. (Jimmie) of Mason. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
