He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carroll Fite and Gladys Gandy Fite; his sisters, Virginia Enloe, Sherry Maxwell and Sue Smith; and his grandsons, Andrew Stewart and Nicolas Stewart.
He is survived by: his brother Jerry Fite; his wife Norma Jean Guthrie Fite; his brother Monte Fite; his children, Christie Stewart (Barry) and Jerry Fite (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Alicia Weir (Derrick Weir), Blake Fite, Maeretha Wilburn (Corey) and Matthew Stewart (Jordana). He is also survived by 14 great- grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bartley Funeral Home (1015 W Wolfe St, Grand Saline, TX 75140). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
