It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Navarre Kennedy (Pasadena, Texas), who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel Navarre and Lena Navarre; her husband Gus Kennedy; her sons, Jim Kennedy and Gene Kennedy; and her siblings, Curtis Navarre and Lula Burch.

She is survived by: her siblings, Verlie Porter, Melba Trosclair and Mike Navarre; her daughter Gail (Joe); her grandchildren, Amanda Jung and Jake Harris; her daughter Beth Willis; her grandson Michael Crain (Kristina); her great grandchild Mikyla; her granddaughter Amy (Josh); her son Jude; her grandson Troy (Kayla); her children, Macee and Robb Kennedy; her grandson Daniel Kennedy; her son Gabriel Kennedy; her grandsons, AJ Kennedy and Benjamin; her son-in-law Bryan Kennedy (Kristen); and her grandchildren, Rylee and Tyler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
