He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Faye Hammons Hatfield (Joyce Sheridan Hatfield); his parents, Jonnie Cole Hatfield and Zadie Ruth Hatfield; and his brothers, Bobby Hatfield, Wendal (Ellen Hatfield) and Glendal (Avon Hatfield).
He is survived by: his sons, Carey (Tawna Hatfield), Brady (Sharon Hatfield), Alan (Tammy Hatfield) and Darrell (Christina Hatfield Also); his great great grandchild Mac; and his sister-in-law Doris Hatfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 Great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and their children.
