He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Jack" Morgan and Johnnie Allison; and his son David Wayne Morgan. He is survived by: his son Chris Morgan; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Morgan-Wilbanks; his grandchildren, Kennedy Morgan (Elizabeth), Alexander Morgan (Martha), Madison Morgan, Caden Morgan and Tristan Morgan; his great grandchildren, Liam Morgan and Harrison Morgan; his brothers, Richard Morgan and Donald Morgan; and his sister-in-law Carol Morgan.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (7500 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX 77505).
