He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Larkin Hay and Johnnie Mildred Tabor Hay; and his sister Candy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Choyce Hay; his children, Pam Adamek (Gary), Randy Hay and Sherri Pierson (Randy); his siblings, Michael Hay and Cathy Hay; his grandchildren, Cody Adamek (Nicole), Cory Adamek (Jennifer), Brooke Pierson, Alyssa Pierson and Shelby Pierson; and his great grandchildren, Makenna and Callie Adamek.

“Sincerest sympathy to the Hay family. Ronal Hay is going to be sorely missed. I have known him since I was in junior high school back in the 70’s. I attended school with Randy, Sherri and Pam. I lost touch with Ronald and Choyce for a long time. I have reconnected with them for the past 7 -8 years. We attended the same church- First Baptist Pasadena. I thoroughly enjoy our visits at church. They were the highlights of my week. Love this family. Lynn Jones”
