He was predeceased by: his siblings, Claude Hooper, George Hooper and Norma Jean Davis. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Whitehurst; his daughter Holly; his son-in-law Kent Vinson of Houston; his daughter Natalie; his son-in-law Phil Thompson of Woodbury; his son Robert Hooper of Marble Falls; his siblings, Richard Hooper (Mary Nell), John Hooper (Sylvia) and Billie June Kirby; his siblings-in-law, Newbern and Jeannie Whitehurst; and his grandchildren, Tristan Hooper, Matthew, Mark Vinson, Andrew and Gabrielle Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
