She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Rasmussen; her former husband Tildon Penton; her children, Richard Charles Rasmussen and Patricia Lanell; her son-in-law William Gardner; her mother Barbara Steedley; her sisters, Juanita, Ruby, Hazel and Lucille; and her father George T Steedley.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Hardy (Donald) of Huffman, Phillip Rasmussen (Celia) of Houston, Sharon Gardner of Atascocita and David Rasmussen of Houston; her daughter-in-law Ann Rasmussen of Houston; and her sister Margarette Rasmussen of El Campo. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
