She was predeceased by: her mothers, J. O. McKenzie and Josie Bean McKenzie. She is survived by: her husband Leon Sefton; her sisters, Nadene Hoch and Marlene Delavan (Macon); her children, Myra Farris (Dan), Steven Sefton (Lori) and David Sefton (Leann); her grandchildren, Kristina Dorismond, Daniel Farris, Lauren Hettema, Devin Sefton, Austin Sefton, Tara Bacchus, Amy McKinney, Melanie Beran and Cara Burns; her brother Reverend James McKenzie (Linda); and her friend Latoya McCovey. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the South Main Baptist Church (4300 East Sam Houston Pkwy S, Pasadena, TX 77505).
Parkinson's was a hard blow to this family, first Leon then Mother, she bore it with grace and never wavered in her faith.
