She is survived by: her husband Leonardo Avila; her children, Cristina Avila and Eric Hernandez; her mother Barbara Bernal; and her siblings, Larry Bernal Jr., Donald Ray Bernal, Carol Cantu, Clayton Bernal and Josie Zepeda. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
