He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Saenz and Eliza S. Saenz Sr.; his wife Magdalene Saenz; and his siblings, Hipolito Saenz (Carolina), Jose Majin Saenz (Adela), Alonso Saenz (Marylou), Liborio Saenz (Diana), Hortencia Ramirez (Domingo), Tomasita Saenz, Lucinda Hernandez (Eustolio), Hilda Dominguez (Danny) and Eliza Cuellar (Ramiro).
He is survived by: his friend Bingo; his children, Edna Milam (Joe) of La Porte, Texas and Daniel Saenz (April) of Nacogdoches, Texas; his brothers, Simon Saenz Jr. (Selma) of Benavides, Texas, Robert Saenz (Janie) of Benavides, Texas and Jesse Saenz of Hebbronville; and his grandchildren, Julia Eliza Milam, Scarlett Alana Saenz and Gabriel Quinn Saenz. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
