The memory of Leonard Henry Hotcaveg of Pasadena, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2024 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry I. Hotcaveg and Jean Wojtas Hotcaveg; his grandparents, Leo, Tillie Hotcaveg, Stanley and Victoria Wojtas; his brother Howard Hotcaveg; his sister-in-law Mary Hotcaveg; his nephew Steven Hotcaveg; his sons-in-law, Gary Boring and Stephen Ashby; and his great grandchild Taylor Kinsey.

He is survived by : his wife Vivian Edelman; his daughters, Cindy Voltz (Randy), Carol Ashby (Jimmy), Kim Hotcaveg-Farris (Brad) and Dianna Powell (TJ); and his brother Kenneth Hotcaveg (Carole). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors (336 E San Augustine St, Deer Park, TX 77536). A rosary was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St Hyacinth Catholic Church (2921 Center St, Deer Park, TX 77536).
