He is survived by: his wife Michelle Coats; his son Gabriel (Becky); his grandchildren, Griffin, Gideon and Willow; his daughter Sarah; his grandson Jeremiah; his brother Bill Coats (Jeanne); his nephews, William (Kirby), Jonathan and Collin; his brother James (Debbie); his son James; his nephew Breck (Shelby); his brother Dale; his nephew Cole; his sister Lynn (Rhonda); and also Ryan (Samantha).
