He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Salinas and Raquel Leal; his grandparents, Gustavo Leal and Gregoria Pena; and his siblings, Viviana and Francisco.

He is survived by: his wife Susana Salinas of Pasadena, TX; his daughters, Andrea Salinas of Pasadena, TX and Alejandra Salinas of Pasadena, TX; and his siblings, Guadalupe, Raquel, Ana, Mauricio and Agustin. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
