He is survived by: his wife Janie Jimenez; his mother Angelita Jimenez; his son Joe Jimenez Jr.; his daughter-in-law Norma Jimenez; his granddaughters, Jessica Jimenez and Jeannette Jimenez-Sanchez; his son Larry Jimenez; his granddaughter Miranda Medina-Jimenez; his daughter Rita Sanchez; his grandchildren, Esmeralda Sanchez and Juan Samuel Sanchez; his daughter Therese Hobbs; his son-in-law Andrew Hobbs II; his grandsons, Andrew Hobbs III and Thomas Hobbs; and his siblings, Luis Jimenez and Linda Calderon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
