It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Gonzales Sr. of Pasadena, Texas, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gonzales Sr. and Nieves Maldonado; his sisters, Virginia Lopez and Mary Gomez; his grandson Joe "Trey" Gonzales III; and his pet Kane Gonzales.
He is survived by: his wife Elfida Peña Gonzales; his siblings, John Gonzales Jr., Jerry Gonzales, Maria G. Castillo and Erminia Cadena; his children, Joe Gonzales Jr. (Ida Gonzales), Annette Gonzales Salas (Rey Salas), Nannette Gonzales Moland (Chad Moland), Shawn Gonzales and James Gonzales (Amy Rose Gonzales); his grandchildren, Ryan Gonzales, Jessica Walker, Erica Gonzales, Ashley Gonzales, Diego Gonzales, Tiffani Moreno, Marc Moland, Kailah Gonzales, Kaitlyn Gonzales, James Mateo Gonzales, Kylee Salas, Kuno Gonzales, Ariah Salas, Damian Gonzales, Noe Garza, Gabriel Garza and Alejandro Garza; and his great grandchildren, Caiden Gonzales, Rhodee Gonzales, Olivia Miramontes, Jade Miramontes, Zayden Moreno, Hunter Moreno, Jaxon Moreno and Mackenzie Walker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
