He is survived by: his wife Dinah Pearson Jones; his children, James Sheldon Jones, Jr., John David Clark, Andrew James Clark (Spring), Melanie Jones Polley and Amy Clark Dunlap; and his siblings, Frank V. Jones, III (Keren) and Irene Jones Lasnau (JR). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
