He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jorge Ayales, William Ayales, Walter Ayales and Yamileth Ayales. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ayales; his siblings, Agueda Ayales, Farid Ayales and Julie Ayales; his children, Gerardo Ayales, Jr., Karoline Ayales, Rocio Alfaro, Mauren Araya and Sugeidy Ayales; and his granddaughters, Rebecca and Racquel Vargas. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
