He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Phillips and Clara Louise Batts Phillips; and his granddaughter Amanda. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Kirkland Phillips; his daughters, Maria Barron and Barbara Barron; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Stephanie, Cody and Tommy. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; as well as a large extended family and many friends.
