He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilmer Chapin and Emalou Ottie Chapin; his wife Annese T. Chapin; his children, Cathy (David L. Wilson), Karen Chapin and Allen (Angela); his grandsons, Alex and Austin Chapin; his siblings, Martha (Jerry Tadlock) and Dale (Deborah Chapin); his brother-in-law Dorsey (Shirley Tadlock); and his nieces, Kaitlyn and Chloe Stegner.
