He was predeceased by: his parents, Titus Tilman Nugent and Mary Frances Shelton (Livingston); his daughter Nikki Leigh Nugent; his stepfather George Thomas "Hoppy" Shelton; his aunt Lucy Moore; his uncle Tom Livingston; and his cousins, Roger, Ronnie Livingston, Thomas and Henry Moore.
He is survived by: his uncle Bob; his aunt Norma Holt of Terrell, Texas; his sisters, Rosemary Rolin, Kathy Stone and Kelley Paulk; his children, Lydia Nugent Godfrey, Karen Nugent Gorman and Wayne Tilman Nugent; and his grandchildren, Zach, Dylan Godfrey, Cody Newsom, Zachary, Savannah and Zurich Nugent. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
