He is survived by: his sons, Fernando Fernandez III and Antonio Manuel Fernandez; the mother of his children Olga; and his sisters, Fay Fernandez, Jeronimo Fernandez (Emiliano Fernandez), Margarita Fernandez (Vicente Fernandez), Eliza Zavala and Alvado Fernandez (Margarito Fernandez). He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews.
