He is survived by: his wife Patsy Still Shippey; his children, Gwen Douglas of Pearland, Deborah Rambo of Jacksonville and Wendell Shippey (LaDonna) of La Porte, Texas; his brothers, Roy Kenneth Shippey (Kathy) of Lebanon and Billy Wayne Shippey (Diane) of Conroe, Texas; his sister-in-law Nelda Shippey McGuire of Tarketon, Texas; his aunt Audrey Shippey Turner (Curtis) of Pasadena, Texas; his grandchildren, Bryan Shippey (Jodi) of Framingham, Massahusetts, Heather McCormick (Adam) of Friendswood, Chris Shippey (Hannah) of Pearland, Matt Shippey (Meagan) of Pearland, Texas and Norris Hammers (Meridean) of Austin, Texas; and his brother-in-law Walter Still (Teena) of Baytown, Texas. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
