He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Leslie Massey and Lawanna Tress Massey; and his siblings, Fay Gray, Lola Long, James Massey and Jessie Massey (Jearldean Wright Massey).
He is survived by: his spouse Jearldean; his children, Marci Rayna Massey and Jeryl Ray Massey (Kimberly Stoner); his grandson Cody Ray Massey (Khadija Ross); his sister Jewel Smith; and his sister-in-law Georgie Massey (Lynda Wright). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
