He was predeceased by: his wife Lena A. Grebe; his parents, Reginald Compton and Etna Compton; and his siblings, Johnnie, Weldon Compton and Anna Rae Bosch.
He is survived by: his sister Yvonne Prichard; his son Barrett Lloyd Compton (Pamela); his granddaughter Lauren Compton; his daughter Diane Compton Fick (Milton); and his grandchildren, Alex Fick (Rose), Garrison Fick (Blake), Meredith Fick, Marcella Ehrlich (Landin), Jared and Rex Fick. He is also survived by the oldest of five siblings, having two brothers and two sisters.
