It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann (King) Underwood (Pasadena, Texas), born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth King and Chester King; her brother Johnny King; her former husband Nathan Shaw; her husband Jack Underwood; and her stepson Mark Thomas Woods.

She is survived by: her daughter Celeste Mackie (Grant Mackie); her grandsons, Joshua and Jonathan Cheatham; her great grandchildren, Judah and Joseph Cheatham; her stepchildren, George Woods (Barbara) and Rosemary Payne; and her sister Barbara Anderson. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as cousins.

It is requested that if you wish to express your sympathy through a donation in her name, please make a donation to either the First Responders' Luncheon, 1905 W Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas 76048, a ministry very close to her heart, or Universal Hospice and Palliative Care Facility, 5651 Bridge Street, Fort Worth, Texas, 76112 who provided loving care in her final days.
