He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramona Garcia and Ramon Gutierrez. He is survived by: his wife Anastacia Gutierrez; his daughter Sonia Meza (Oscar Meza); his grandchildren, Julian, Brandon and Milania; his daughter Miriam Vela (Ned Vela); his grandchildren, Chris, Jonathan and Ellie; his daughter Sandra Badillo; his granddaughters, Hailey and Delaine; his daughter Sarai Alvarado (Marcos Alvarado); his granddaughters, Madelyn and Makayla; and his siblings, Agustina Caballero, Natalia Rincon, Domingo Gutierrez, Lauro Gutierrez, Virginia Gutierrez, Veto Gutierrez and Santos Gutierrez.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Home (3939 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77503). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
