He is survived by: his children, Robin Rooks (Stephen) of The Woodlands and William Loyd "Chip" Hindman of Paris; his grandchildren, Megan Larkin (Matthew) of Conroe, William Tanner Hindman of Huntsville and Ryan Rooks of The Woodlands; his great grandchildren, Kash and Zane Larkin; and his sister Dorotha Abbott of Paris.
