He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Templeton and Pauline McFadden Templeton; his grandson Jeremy Adams; his sisters-in-law, Dale Adams, Rex Adams and Yvonne Powers; and also Lottie Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Emilie; his children, Gary Templeton (Leslie) and Tammy Templeton; his grandchildren, Jennifer Jackson (Danny), Stephanie Ellis, Aaron Mitchell Barnes (Savanha), Trish Reed (Bob), Heather Templeton, Marko Latson and Courtney Ray; his great grandchildren, KeShauwn Ellis, Alexis Jackson, Antonio, Tyler, Emalee, Dixie, Riley Mitchell, Alivia Barnes, Tamarrie Bell, Solomon and Kelsey; and his siblings, Luther Templeton (Peggy) and Margie Massey. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
