With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean (Paris, Texas), born in Hamilton, Texas, who passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Andrew Petree and Irene Woodard Petree; and her son William Andrew Dunn. She is survived by: her husband James Peoples; her children, Stephanie Fox (Warner) and Trey Dunn (Sally); her grandchildren, James Burnett (Lauren), Jenifer Burnett, Justin Burnett (Sarah), Shelbi Dunn and Megan Tellez (Lane); her great grandchildren, Mandy Burnett and Mila Burnett; her sister-in-law Susan Kim Bacon (Kevin); her nephew William Peoples Bacon (Lauren Stuart Whithey); and her great-niece Eleanor Whithey Bacon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Program or Tunnels to Towers.
