He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore William Philippi and Julianna Mayo Philippi. He is survived by: his wife Mary Philippi; his children, Stephen R. Philippi, Scott Hines (Amy), Stephanie Holland (Mark) and Stacie Clark (Larry); his grandchildren, Kyle Johnston (Lucas), Erik Carr (Caitlyn), Tucker Clark (Avery), Wayde Clark (Tati), Bobbie Jo Clark, Justin Johnston, Cody Hines and Wyatt Hines; his great grandchildren, Dylan Clark and Dakota Carr; and his sister Judy LaFond.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fry Gibbs Funeral Home (730 Clarksville St, Paris, TX 75460). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
