She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Samuel Smart and Mary West Smart; her grandparents, Frank and Cellia West; and her sons, Bill and Russell Books.
She is survived by: her husband Glen; her daughter Kathy McMonigle (Bruce); her grandchildren, Patrick McMonigle of Midland, TX and Paige Crail (Brad) of Van Alstyne, TX; and her great grandchildren, Aaron and Maggie Crail.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery Open Air Chapel (560 Evergreen St, Paris, TX 75460). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (560 Evergreen St, Paris, TX 75460).
