With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou (Naron) Rowland of Paris, Texas, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Jenkins and Agnes Jenkins (Patton); her husband Bill Rowland; her daughter Sue Shipman; and her siblings, Edwin Jenkins and Sarah Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry McAnally of Missouri, Ann Sanders of Oklahoma, Rev. Michael Naron (Cindy) of Pasadena, Danny Naron (Cheryl) of Paris, Lorena Brady (Matt) of Missouri and Dawn Chalaire (Dennis) of Humble, Texas; her son-in-law Jeff Shipman of Paris; and her stepchildren, Bobby Rowland (Debbie), Suzanne Cannaday (Scott) and Sherri Schultz (Jeffrey). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bright-Holland Funeral Home (2601 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460).
