She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hoy and Ruth Hoy; and her husband Gerald Wilcox. She is survived by: her son Neal; her daughter-in-law Allison Wilcox of Midland, MI; her daughter Celeste Wilcox of Paris, Texas; her grandchildren, Johanna Wilcox (Stephen Piasta) of Boston, MA and Connor Wilcox of Midland, MI; her sister Linda; and her brother-in-law David Robinson of Chevy Chase, MD..

Prior to the COVID pandemic, she was active in the sewing group, UMW and the Discovery Class.
