It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madge (Gentry) Skidmore Parker of Paris, Texas, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Gentry and Thelma Beatrice Westbrook Gentry; her husband Arnold Parker; her son Curtis Skidmore; and her siblings, Rodger Gentry, James Gentry, Charles Gentry, Kenneth Gentry and Bernice Bell.
She is survived by: her children, David Skidmore (Laura) and Nita Johnson (Dennis); her grandchildren, Cade Skidmore (Bo), Harley Skidmore, Raynie Skidmore Lollar, Casey Johnson and Taran Harms; her great grandchildren, Jaylie Kayde Johnson, Anabell Hoskins, Garrison Rhyder Horton, Derringer Horton and Asher Johnson; and her siblings, Linda Caviness and Donald Gentry.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bright-Holland Funeral Home (2601 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
