She is survived by: her husband Eddie Burns; her daughter Shaujuan Russell; her daughter-in-law MaShonda Russell; and her sister Rubye Newsome. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peaceful Rest Funeral Home - Paris (624 5th St NE, Paris, TX 75460). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the El Bethel Baptist Church (3025 Campbell St, Paris, TX 75460).
