He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisha Vaughan and Lula May Vaughan (Day); his great grandchild Grayson Stafford; and his siblings, Wallace, Weldon of Wayne, RA, Buddy, Leonard, Marie, Margie and Wanda May.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Stafford (Tim) of Fairview and Angie Reed (Wade Reed); his grandsons, Bryson and Hunter Stafford; and his sister Doris of Trenton, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
