Don Wear Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Wear of Paris, Texas, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bailey and Gracie Molly Barnett Wear; and his son Jason Wear. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wear; his daughters, Julie Johnson (Brian Johnson) and Tina Burma; his grandchildren, Kelsey Shea Preston, Donovan Preston, William Connor Keating, Madeleine Keating, Joel Keating, Makenzie Williams and Jayce Shelby; and his siblings, Billy Wear, Raymond Wear, Melvin Wear, Bobby Wear and Gretta Baker. He is also survived by 6 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home (730 Clarksville St, Paris, TX 75460). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Paris Church of God (1400 Bonham St, Paris, TX 75460).
