Christy Gaffney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christy Gaffney of Paris, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tiny McElroy and Willie Mae Williams (Wilbur Gaffney); her son Wilbert Gaffney Jr.; and her brothers, Bennie Edwards, Malvies Williams, Arbrie Williams, Dorles Reece, Milburn McElroy and Quincy McElroy.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Oasis Gaffney of Dallas, TX, Amanda Calvin of Durant, OK, Destiny Gaffney of Paris, TX and Elijah Calvin of Grant, OK; her great grandchild Josiah Mosley of Paris, TX; and her siblings, Jean McElroy-Minter of Paris, TX and Darnell Reece of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by sister-in-laws, brother-in laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peaceful Rest Funeral Home - Paris (624 5th St NE, Paris, TX 75460). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Central District Building (500 S Dewitt St, Hugo, OK 74743).
