He is survived by: his wife Velma Hall Whitley; his children, Sharon Griffin (Larry) of Tulsa, OK, Charlene Ballaron (Morrie) of San Angelo, TX, Angie Shepard of Longview, TX and Sherman Whitley (Kelly) of Paris, TX.; his siblings, Margaret Whitley, Martha Sue Wilson, Wanda Whitley, Russell Whitley and Corky Whitley (Anita); his grandchildren, Paij, Kevin Drake, Josh, Katherine Griffin, Corey Shepard (Tara), Morgan, Jared Russell, Collin, Macey Whitley and Amanda Whitley; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
