It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita F. Roden of Paris, Texas, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anita F. Roden to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Clifford Franklin and Geneva Irene Bean; her husband Paul Gene Roden, Jr.; her grandson Kevin Ross Floyd; her nephew Clifford Ross Franklin; and also, Malvin "MoMo" and Eva Bell Schaffer.

She is survived by: her children, Ward Hall (Marni), Walter Kevin Hall (Tracy Scott), Kathy Roden Floyd (Randy) and Paul Roden (Kate); her grandchildren, Ethan Blair Hall, Arden Joy Shiey, Jacob Davis Hall, Kellen Rhett Floyd, Brink Franklin Hall, Jack Matthew Sigmon, Lily Marie Sigmon, Mary Katherine Sigmon, Garrett Blake Fletcher and Hannah Claire Upchurch; her brother Weldon Clifford Franklin (Betsy); and her nephew Matt Franklin (Anne).

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors (1929 Bonham St, Paris, TX 75460). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (322 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460).
